i try to disable the drl, so i cut the yellow wire with the black strip. Then the drl didn't come on, but when i turn on the headlights, one of the sides drl came on. So i think i cut the wrong wire, so i went back to cut the other yellow wire. Drl was off again then when i turn on my headlights it came on again.
1.whats the deal?
2. Did i cut the right wire? i cut two
3. Which one is the right one and what would happenif i don't connect one of them back?
4. i forgot to put black tape on the wire, is that ok

the drl
s arent on when your headlights are turned on...i think the other light that is on is the parking light, that small 194 bulb...the drl uses the high beams on low power.

just splice those wires back together and put some black electrical tape to secure them. Then cut the yellow wire with green stripe. Simple

- Follow the guide posted above and don't worry if your gas gauge turns off, it will reset next time you fill up. thumbsup
