Door Speakers

Anyone know what the max mounting depth is in the celica's doors for speakers??? The one's i'm looking at are 2.7 inches. I know it's gonna take a MDF baffle to mount them, just wondering if the window will be in the way when down.

Thanx.

The best way to find out is by going to www.crutchfield.com and type in your car info in the "What fit my car" section. It'll tell you evrything from bulbs to speakers, so try that. Or you can call your dealer in the service department and ask to be 100% accurate. grin

Yeah, I tried that, although the largest in mounting depth they have listed is 1/4" smaller than the ones I am going to use. Oh well, just have to give it a try. Thanks.
