body kit

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but when a body kit is installed, are the original sides, front and back bumper removed or are they somehow attached to the original? If they are removed, do you ask to keep the original parts? I want to put a veilside kit on my Celica. I just bought a 2000 GTS. Thanks for your help.

they have to be removed if your going to put the veilside kit on. and of course you can keep your stock bumper they are yours...if you get a lip kit they attach to the stock front and back bumpers. thumbsup

Thanks for the explanation. I saw the lip kits too and wondered what the difference was.
