Currently I have a 12 audiobahn basetube and some shit amp to power it. Great base and all but I need more. What I really want is for other people outside my car to hear my base. They dont have to hear me down the block, but I would like to be known when I am coming. Understand?? Suggestions??

My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!

When it comes to audio, i always recommend doing it the best way possible the first time around. If you change your setup all the time then it's going to end up costing you all kinds of money. Determine how much bass you want and how much you are willing to spend on it.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

i've got the xplod 1600 watt mono amp. it makes 900 watts of rms. right now i have it hooked up to two of the pentagon 12" red xplod subs and its pounding them pretty good in my mustang. but its only temporary because the car is for sale. i have like 8 gauge power wire and 18 gauge speaker wire in there also, which isn't very good for an amp with so much wattage. wtf when i get my celica i'll have that amp hooked up to a pair of kicker solo baric l5's or l7's. thumbsup believe it or not that amp is really nice. cool

ditto.

you can get a cheap setup and be heard just as much as if you had an expensive setup (although quality may be sacrificed). hatches are excellent with sound.

I had all explode stuff in the Miata. First car and I didn't know jack about audio... just that the red speakers matched.

It sounded okay... at 1/4 volume. After that it started to distort, VERY badly. It really started to flatten out at higher volumes to. As someone said to me once "anything that was once a factory option on a Ford Focus should NOT be in your car". grin
