if your still saving, then just wait a little longer, rather than buying a cheap one and waiting even longer for a better one!! just be patient and buy a nicer one...

Those are good and would be my second choice for an exhaust, but my first is the Tanabe Racing Medallion. thumbsup

It won't matter if you get the cat back or universal. you will see little to no gain. What i did is bougth an universal exhaust and had a shop fabricate custome pipes. i think its the best way to go.

Just keep saving and get a whole system. I'm saving for my TRSM. Should have enough money by the end of this week. Its going to look really good sitting on the floor of my room while I save up the money for the install. cry

There is a big difference between a cat-back and just a muffler as far as HP gains go.

Umm.. about 1-2 hp gain. the best way to go is custom pipes all the way to the header with universal muffler.

That is unnecessary. All you need to do in order to get good gains is get custom piping (mandrel bending prefered or compression bending) from the mid-pipe to the rear of the car.

so today i went to the muffler shop and ask for an estimate. Turn out it'll cost me around $150.00 for fabricating cusmtom pipe and welding. Now i just need to get a Universal Muffler. i figure it'll be around 200 dollars. Which is pretty good.
