You can get creative, so long as it look like you intend to keep it on the car...

My dad had a fix-it ticket for no front plate on his IS300. there are no holes from the factory. He used wire threaded through the grill to hold the plate on, and that passed inspection fine.

How bout riggin up something like that?

That's probably your best bet, rigging a temporary hold on the plate so you can pass. Or you could get some personalized tags, then you'd WANT to have a front liscense plate.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

Depends on where you live. Here, yes you can. And in Cali, too, for sure.

It's very easy to drop the front bumper. Not even 10 minutes to do it. Use a 10mm socket. I've gotten 8 tickets in the past few months for no front plate. About $200 total. I lost my front plate...so I'm still waiting for my new personalized plates to come in. Oh, another thing is that I've never heard of a fix it ticket around here-at least you got those.

use either ZIP-TIES to your front grill or get creative with clamps UNDER the edge of your bumper - instead of drilling into the front of it.

Do NOT put holes in your car, I bought my car in MD, you're required to have front license plates there and they drilled holes in my car. I decided to become a Florida resident, and only needed one license plate, so I removed the front one and now I'm stuck with this... thumbsdown

yeah thank god for that cause i dont like the license plate on the front bumper look. although i have seen some people get creative and it would come out awesome.

here in louisiana all that is required is a rear plate as well thumbsup
