hey wassup guys..newbie...i was wondering what parts do you need for an engine swap ( like one 7th gen to another 7th gen) beside the engine itself?..also what parts do you need for a tranny swap from auto to manuel..beside the tranny itself?...oh yea im not doing the swap but i just need to know what other parts i need to buy to make the swap work...i dont know if this question has been discussed before but please reply thanx.

engine, depends on if you are going from a gt to a gts, if it is the same then it should be a direct bolt on

tranny change, a ton of differences, clutch pedal, center console for the shifter, computer prob, tranny mount

Tranny Swap thumbsdown thumbsdown thumbsdown It would cost you around $5000... My dear frend Just go to the dealer and trade in you lemon and get a new one...
But if you do not mind to spend $5000 on Tranny swap and another $3000-$5000 on the engine swap go for it...

^ with that kind of money you're better off getting a turbo or doing a 3SGTE swap

if you are set on swapping go with the 3Sgte...you can get them for like $2,000...completely rebuilt... check out this page>>> top end motorsports engines [topendmotorsports.com]
