Has anybody tried a Ferrari-style shifter gate on 6spd GTS?

...I did and let me tell you - it's amazing ! After few minutes your shifting gets incredibly precise and you will never do the "6-to-1" = blow the engine._

apparantly not.
i've never even seen one up close... well, except at car shows, but they won't let even breathe on them.

I am thinking of making a template myself, then trace it on a temporary plastic one (ie.plexi), try it out for a while installed temporarily and eventaully having one made out of aluminum and installing permanently

not really...your original shift gates are more or less the same (just don't look nearly as good because you don't have to look at them).

after all--ferraris are built for racing and it wouldnt make sense to put a difficult shift gate in.

lmao..me neither, but i did do an accidental 6-2 shift before...felt like i had just smashed my foot on the brake! glad my car came out of it ok.

anyway, i want the gates more for the looks...i like it better than a boot

It's Ferrari but interior looks kind of crappy.
P.S.350Z's Interior looks way better...And it's just a Nissan...
