Sam, don't do it. That's way too much carbon fiber. It is overkill, IMO. Pretty soon your car is gonna look like the Honda Element.

You can paint carbon fiber right. So you could still take advantage of the weight savings.

I think they look alright if you DON'T have a carbon fiber hood.. but since you do, it will definitely be overkill. I wouldn't if I was you.

It's not that big of a difference. Stock fenders weigh hardly anything. idunno

I agree with others on this one, blow off the C/F fenders. The Veilside fenders with the outer portion of your Invader hood painted would look awesome. thumbsup

BTW, if you go with different fenders, I'll buy your takeoffs. smile

Veilside fenders sort of look like the TRD Supra fenders; Simple but interesting.

Painting the hood like this visually integrates the two dissimilar materials.

imo, for carbon fiber pieces to flow (except spoilers yada yada..) you have to get the whole exterior done in carbon fiber (think ferrari, lamborghini, some porsches..also think very high price tag).

but carbon fiber is a good performance mod. strong & lightweight so you would get weightsavings. and then half the fun would just be telling everyone who knows what carbon fiber is that you have carbon fiber fenders spineyes thumbsup
