hey i have a question

i have also ground coilovers but i am running 17's right now and some people told me i have to change my stock struts because when you have 17or 18's , it is disstressed for struts. Actually i also dunno what disstressed means but at least i can guess. I think when you go kind of bigger rims stock struts are not strong enough . I might be wrong but i am confused .

I am also planing to get some 18s but i dunno because of this problem . U have noticed any problems ?

and one more question i have a black gt and almost same set up like urs except the rims and do you have a really big speed loss because of the 18 s ?

thanks in advance man

i think it means that the stock shocks aren't really made to be able to handle a low drop. They would work ok with TRD springs, but anything else thats lower, it will eat up the shocks fast and will wear em out. Aftermarket shocks like KYB or Tokico are designed to handle low drops...Well, about the speed lost because of 18's, im sure my rims does slow down the car a bit, but my car's an auto anyways, so more show than go! thumbsup

i brought the kit with the grills already attached to it. They used bondo to make the grill stay where it is. I agree, the kit looks better with grills.
