you could dynomat the whole trunk and that would help--it would probably be a little cheaper just to dynomat around the edges though with a similar effect.

also, your doorhandles most likely rattle and you also have some wires under your dash that probably rattle as well.

take your doorhandles out and put some felt tape around the edges if you have a problem.

for the wires in your dash (if they do indeed rattle--not every celica has this problem but many do) you will need to get some twist ties or something of that sort & just clip the wires together to keep them from hitting the inside dash walls. thumbsup

if it's your trunk door handle that vibrates, then i'd get some felt tape, reach up to wear the edges connect and stick it there (since the trunk handle is out of site, you don't need to worry so much about how it looks. just press the handle in, put some tape and then put some tape on the opposite side to reduce the clatter of vibrations thumbsup

do you have 2 bolts or 4 bolts on your license plate? I thought the licesnse plate added alittle more vibration.

use plastic or rubber washers. also, use a metal license plate cover & tighten it good. shouldn't vibrate even if you have the standard 2 license plate bolts. thumbsup

You could go to a roofing supply store (or even someplace like Lowe's) and get aluminum backed "peel n seal", that is just like Dyno Ext, but a roll of 9.5" x 30 feet is only about $25...I havent used it myself, but I know several people who swear by peel-n-seal... idunno...they say its just as good as dyno (a little thinner though- may take an extra layer)and cheaper...

you can use double sided tape (3m) the one that has a little padding inbetween ther lisence plate. also lift up ur carpet and mke sure there is nothing under there. when i lifted mine up it had some metal tools i was confused. also the jack on the side of you car in the trunk if that isn't already out. i took everything that i can think of outta mine. and oh yea dynomat. it works wonders thumbsup
