racing in a 2001 GT auto
what is the best way to race with this type of car i dont know a lot about the gear like L and 2

Put it in 1 and hold the brake while pressing on the accel. Don't let the rpm's run too high though.
When you take off, let off on the brake and floor it. Then be sure to shift into Drive before you redline.

when shifting from l,2 in to drive, do you have to tape the break, as in the clutch of a manual for a 2000 auto??
