Has any1 install the Ground Kit in their Celica? If so, do you know if you can skip a step. For example:
Step 1: from Batery to under fuse box
Step 2: From Batery to Tranny << Can you skip this step?
Step 3: from tranny to engine bay. ect...

What i'm asking is can you skip step 2 and go straight to step 3. So from Batery to engine bay and skipping the tranny.. Would that make any different? any comment welcome.

thanks

I didn't pay for it. I use the left over 4G from my amp kit. The reason i skip was becuz last week i tried to install it but broke the bolt's cap off, the bolt that held the stock ground down on the Tranny. So i super glue the the cap down. I had the dealer look at it but they say it'll cost <$130 to get it replace. That's y i ask if skipping a step would make any different.

it probably wouldnt make THAT much of a difference... ground kits do almost nothing anyways.

one thing is for sure... it wont hurt anything.

there are two factory grounds that run from underneath the battery tray to the tranny (on my GT anyways)- just use the other one.

if you have a larger battery, you dont need a grounding kit... a grounding kit is a poor-mans $40 solution to an easy $80 battery upgrade wave

Really? So an $80 batery would work better huh? Does the headlight go dim with the more expensive battery?

True. However, for some of us trying to save weight and get a light weight battery that can't handle that much draw...it can help a little.
