I just got that intake in red. Haven't had time (and don't have the tools yet) to install it. That condom looking thing is actually pretty neat. It's a sock that you put over the filter and repels water pretty well. I tested it out over my kitchen sink.

K&N is thought to be more of a domestic brand... but an intake is an intake and K&N is great

Why don't many people have the K&N intake Cost, for about $50 less you can get an injen.
