It was raining today and my belt started to sqeeek loud...whats the problem...it always does it when it rains. Can anyone give me the installs on how to change the belt? I cant get in installs at this forums..my computer is that old. HELP!!!

the exact same thing happend to me, and probly about half teh people on this site. you can use belt lube, but if your car is underwarranty you can take it to the dealer, and they will fix it for free

my dealer lubed my belt...and the fucked it up...
the lube they use will freeze up at cold and causing the lube to be acting like glue...which make my belt squeek like no tomorrow...

if you are talkin to me, i dont want the dealer to touch my car again...unless it's with warranty stuff and i can for sure get things done from them for free...otherwise, they wont beable to see my car again.

yeah, i know what you mean. i only take my car their to get the oil changed & routine maintenance.

laughsilly i wont have them change the oil anymore...
an oil change will take up to 1 and a half hour...it's freaking boring sitting there waitin you kno?

i told them very spesific: "i want ONLY oil change, no filter check or anything else, ONLY oil change" and guess wut? they took 1&half hour to have the oil change done...wut in the world...?!

I have the same problem! Only happens when it is cold though. Tried belt dressing but that only seems to work til the next time I start the car. The squeak does eventually go away, but I hate hearing it! SOMEONE HELP!!!

mine does that now too

after belt dressing it for 2 weeks...the glue like lube finally goes away...but the belt is alredy dead...

guess it's time for me to put the AEM pulley on eh?

you can turn the volume up on the cd player grin mine does that once in a while, especialy if it's cold outside, it goes away once the car warms up.

elec dude, how have you not installed the AEM pulley? I have to install everything within a day or I go nutts spineyes rofl

mine squeaks too, hardcore when its cold or just rained/wet. changing belts costs money =|

Goodyear gatorback belt works for me kills the squeek!
