Does anyone know of a good place online to buy speaker spacers for my rears? I have looked without much luck. Also, does anyone make a spacer specifically for toyota's shallow mounting depth? I thought I had heard that somewhere...

I know this is probably a stupid question, but how do you make them? So far I have only found these (10mm) and these: (1/4" and 1/8") I believe my top mounting depth is 1-7/8" and the speakers I want are around 2-13/16" (JL XR)

Jigsaw or a router will do you good. All you have to do is draw out the size you need and go for it. I would suggest making sure you'll enough clearance to put the grill or panel on over them though. If you space out the speaker another 3/4" the panel might not fit back on...

I made mine out of some 3/4" MDF and a dremel. Just trace the shape and mounting holes from the original bracket to the wood and cut it out.
