Wondering if anyone has taken off that stupid rubber band thing that lines where the hood and bumper meet. Messes up the car's line, and just looks plain stupid. Do you need it there to prevent rubbing, or can I just take it off? If I can, how to go about it?

i'd leave it there 'cuz it helps keep your engine bay clean & it might help against rubbing. but it should just pull right off

still have mine. think it serves a purpose other then just messing up the look of your car. prevents dirt and water from getting in the engine bay.

Yeah, I still have mine on. I solved it by picking up a TRD mechanical bumper.
