I went and looked at some rims the other day and couldn't decide on wether to get 17's or 18's, and the guy at the place told me i should go with 17's b/c 18's can mess with the gear ratio's or something with the car...But i see people on here all the time with 18's and i'm lost about what he means...can anyone explain???

the guys an idiot... your wheels have nothing to do with gear ratio's.
get whatever size you want.

18's look waay better on a Celica than 17's. Those are too small. I like 19's myself.
