Ok...was workin on my car this weekend and was takin my intake off to get it powdercoated. When i got it off there was a hole worn in the side of it about the size of a penny. I have no idea how it happened...anyone else have this problem? Or maybe you should check urs and make sure you don't have a hole too Sorry i dont' have a pic...the intake is out gettin welded

where was the hole was it by the wheel fender plastics if so you were suppose to cut your plastics to avoid any "rubbing" if its not there its probably "rubbing" somwhere else

where was the hole was it by the wheel fender plastics if so you were suppose to cut your plastics to avoid any "rubbing" if its not there its probably "rubbing" somwhere else
Ohh the plastic is cut with tons of room...it rubbed the metal piece in front of that some how...i have no idea how...its bolted in tight so i'm confused...it takes a lot to wear a hole in aluminum

I had the SAME problem when I took mine off. I had a whole right through the intake about the size of a penny, down near the bottom curve...I just got the hole welded and Im gonna put it back on in the summer...I cant remember the part that was rubbing against the intake to create a rubbing motion which created the hole (Ill find out from my borther) but try to angle it out more when you bolt the bracket down...(it was too close to the "piece I cant remember the name of" )

Yea thats exactly where mine is...it just pissed me off...not to bad to fix
Who cares it only a little hole, now i could see being worried about a quater sized hole, but a little penny sized hole ah just drive the damn thing!!!!
