i cant seem to do anythign right when it comes to modding. ok i read the installation guide and did everything EXACTLY how it said with the floss and blow dryer. than i cleaned all the residue with my finger, than i like i took a rag to get the glue off but when i rubbed it off there is all this white stuff which looks like scratches that my rag did kinda llike a smeer. so i took it to the car wash and its still on. i havent done that thing it said with n the installation about that paint polish thingy or whatever, do you think thats the problem? do you think this white smudge is the glue or did i mess up my paint with the blow dryer?

Yeah, i'd try goo-gone. Also, unless you had the dryer hot and on the paint a while, I do not think you messed it up...

I've seen it at wal-mart, k-mart, and most automotive places. I dont think it's that much.

I do not think you can damage the paint with the blowdrier.
Have any of you left your car under the sun at the summer time...??????
Surface of the car gets's really really hot but you can not see any damage to the paint...

I doubt the hair dryer ruin the paint, it's kind of impossible

try using some duct tape and put it on the smeared part and pull it off, the glue on the glue will stick to the duct tape, repeat if necessary

Try getting it off with a clay bar or some of that scratch remover compound (it's like a gritty paste that removes minor scratches).

yeah, don't sweat it bro, goo-gone will fix your problem. It's most likely just residue adhesive from the emblem
