You can actually draw out a clutch for a long time.
Nothing sudden. Never floor it. Easy off, shift, easy on. I once drove for a year on a bad clutch, babying it. It's annoying and you really want to GO! but you can't. If you wish to upgrade, it'll cost you. But it's worth it. Go for TRD
. It's made by the guys who KNOW your car and is designed specifically for your car, not just made to fit it. If you need to save the cash up, as I said, just go really easy on it, you will last. If you cant afford a new clutch and flywheel after 6 months or more, you really can't afford a car. lol
If you catch it early like you have. You can actually just have the flywheel machined down instead of replacing it. This is a technique that removes an insanely small amount off the outside of the flywheel, thus removing the unever "hotspots". Cost=about 100 including labor. Then all you need is the cost of the clutch and the labor to install it. But if you wish to upgrade you'll want the new flywheel too.
