I just received a notice in the mail that there is a Class Action Lawsuit against UPS. The lawsuit accuses UPS of charging excess for the Estimated Value Insurance.

When you send something UPS, you tell them how much your package is worth and they charge you for insurance based on a scale for the value.

I will probably get a voucher for $5 or something like that.

These class action lawsuits make the lawyers and their firms money, not the consumer.
