Ok i was wondering why injen makes better top end power and aem makes better low end power. I was thinking that that the difference is the filter? any opinions?

injen tube has less bends so at high RPM's when you want lots of air you get lots of air, but AEM doesnt flow air as well, so in lower RPM's it gives less air which is better at those rpm's

was....5speed with i/h/e

k so shouldn't a short ram flow the best and produce best gains based on that theory?

Short Ram doesn't get air from the more cold areas. Air at the wheelwell is much colder then air the SRI grabs.

Less air at lower RPM's isn't why the AEM produces more HP than the Injen at low RPM's. More air is always good.

It's actually the type of sound waves created inside of the CAI, and how it circulates the air.
