well i took off my ww rear valace. . . and yeah, i used a heat gun to warm up the rubber shit that keeps it on there. well after awhile it heated up to much and my pant on my bumper began to flake, yep flake everywhere. so anyways, i dont care about it flakeing becuase im getting new front and rear bumpers , but i have to do my side skirts and i dont want to mess that paint up anyways. .

is there an easy was to do it or no? .. or do i just have to take my time and keep the heat gun not nearly as close. .?!?. . . didn't know if there was a chemical or somthin

Just peel them off the sides and get the two sided tape off with some adhesive remover.

Yup, then you won't damage the surrounding paint.

You can use goof off, Wd-40, or denatured alcohol I'd use the alky myself but dont rub too hard let the chemicai soak in and do its work.

You can get the denatured alky at any hardware store. Yeah you can pre soak it first and it might help but yer gonna have to peel em off the car no matter what.

You may also get a couple of cheap flexible plastic putty knives and use them to kinda cut through the foam.

alky= alcohol, such as rubbing alcohol, any goods store has it, such as target and walmart...
