what would i need for a good sound system?
if i were to get a some good ass subs and amp for the celica what would i need to upgrade? so it dont suck up as much power.

you could get a new battery like optima...

but you should be fine just getting a cap.

Unless you are looking at a major system, you really might not even need a cap. If you are going with, say, under 600 watts, I think it's overkill to get one. Otherwise a good 1 farad cap will do the job.

get two 1 farad cap's or one cap with more than one farad.

What exactly does a cap do? I have never heard of these. Also how much do they cost?

i heard that capicitors dont even work that much...ppl at sounddomain.com say just upgrade your battery and alternator.

Make sure yall remember to check up an your alternator. If you upgrade your battery, it's not uncommon for your alternator to burn out. Just be careful.

i'm running 2500 out of my car, and i can say that the best thing to do is to get upgraded battery for the front, and and extra battery in the back to supplement power...go with a zero gauge power wire, and dont forget a zero gauge ground. i have a stinger 5 farad cap and agree that caps work better when they have supplemental power such as a 2nd battery. normally when i do installs i try to match i farad of cap to every 500-600 of continous power.
