that's normal. you can also drive with the ebrake on.

how steep is the hill? if you are parked on an incline than you are supposed to leave your car in gear for the reason that the ebrake cannot hold a car on a steep incline.

use only your ebrake when you are on a relatively flat surface thumbsup

Underneath the car there is a yoke where the single cable from the e-brake handle meets the two that go to the rear brake assemblies, that is wear you'd adjust it. Is yer car a gt or a gts? Cuz if it's a gt you may try adjusting the brakes first.

perhaps.

just saying that everyones celica can be pushed forwards or backwords with just the ebrake up.

when tunred off...a gear works much better than a brake.

You shouldn't be able to push the car at all with the e-brake on. Since you have a gts adjusting the rear brakes isn't gonna help. Follow the black e-brake cables from the brake assembly towards the front of the car and you'll see where the two cables meet and go into one thats where you can adjust it.

yeah, you shouldn't be able to move around with the ebrake on.
