Correction to all...there is no aem short ram. I believe they were supposed to make one but it never got produced...which explains why some people have them on their websites. If you call one of these places they will tell you the same thing.

Heat soak will just rob you of some hp until you're up to speed & cool air is rushing into the engine bay. It wont harm the engine. Blitz, Injen, RMM are the only SR that you can get.

You might want to add K&N to that list.

I got a brand-new K&N CAI with a red finish. Can't wait to put it on this weekend.

Eh, the Cold air is a lot better, i would go with that. But if you really want the ram and are worried about the heat: You shouldn't have to worry about it as long as you don't beat up your car.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

Get a CAI for the summer, a short-ram for the winter/rainy season. grin Someone should make a convertible intake system for our car. (I don't think K&N has a kit for our Celica) One that could be a ram air intake system, and an CAI with an adapter for those summer months. I think that would sell pretty well. Only if I had a machine shop to do it. happywink
