Hey guys (and gals)

I got my AEM yesterday and got up early this morning to install it. My dad helped me with it and it took us about 3 hours. The instructions aren't really clear, but after reading them over and over and over and checking pictures online (thanks for the gallery Isaac thumbsup ), we got it figured out easily enough.

I took it out for a spin and the gains were really noticeable, especially around 3200-4500 RPM. The torque at those levels is so much better, I go through the gear way faster and it pulls hard. I love it.

No CEL either *knock on wood*.

Highly recommended. goodjob

How did it improve your low end torque?I definitely want to get a CAI,but only if it helps in that area.

The car picks up great after 3,200rpm, better than before. The throttle is a lot more responsive and you can hear the CAI kick in a bit and it revs up to 4500 a lot faster than before. I haven't taken it up to redline yet for fear an a CEL. I want to let my ECU adjust to it first. It's probably fine now though, already been 4 days and no CEL.

You won't regret it.

y dont you just take the negative cable off ur battery to reset the computer, then wait like 10 min, put the cable back on the battery and then turn the car on, if no CEL, ur good to go. usually you dont get a CEL at high rpms, and not at low rpms, usually if you are goign to have one, you get one right away. so i think ur good if you dont have one. but reset the comp to be sure.
