Hey guys for the past weeks i've been trying to find out how to make my ac and lighter lights + my clock light BLUE. frown
I bought the light covers from Russ at autoworks, but the covers made the lights turn into this weird turquoise color. I've send Russ two emails complaining and asking what can I do, but he does not answer me at all. angry cry angry
SO... DOES ANYONE ONE WHAT WEBSITE CAN I BUY THE LIGHT FILTERS? AND EXACTLY WHICH FILTER TO BUY??? IS ADDING FILTERS THE CHEAPEST/BEST WAY TO GET THEM BLUE????? confused confused
Please help me all I want is for my lights to match my underdash neon lights, so I can be 100% illegal and finally get my ticket..j/k thumbsup
Please help me turn my celi interior into this! (pic) thumbsup

Cig lighter light is a LED. AC controls are lit by two green lights that are screwed into a circuit board. I took them both out and spliced in some blue LED's.

the cig and ac lights can be used by cutting out the green "condoms" with an exacto knife and putting blue acetate paper or film, whatever its called, over it. i know that they sell this stuff at camera and photo shops.

Yeah that pic is so bright I think those are leds, not bulbs covered in colored "condoms"

russ normally uses led "comdoms" since that's what i bought when we went to a local electronics store near his place. the pix may be different than what i've seen cause i know russ tries different methods.

I used Sharpee to color the bulbs. My entire center console, including the clock is orange. They match the dash.

I actually changed my AC and cig lighter colors. I cut of the green condom thing and painted the bulbs with clear blue model paint. Be sure to paint the WHOLE bulb, tops and sides included otherwise you'll get white light areas in places. For example, I missed a spot on one of the bulbs and right now the slider for my AC that goes between circulated and fresh air changes color when I move it. It's lit blue when it's set on circulated, and it's white when it's on fresh (with a nice fade in between). Its not what I intended of course, but I'm too lazy to take it all apart again and fix it smile
