K&N Filter Recharger Kit clean it anytime you think it looks dirty enough to be cleaned... the Filter Recharger Kit has all instructions needed and oil to reoil it after you wash it.

If you tired of cleaning it, you could always get a Blitz or Apex filter. You throw them away when they get dirty.

Blitz is actually $190. But you get more than just a filter. You the the 90 degree rubber intake tube & an alumunium tube where the MAF plugs in. Blitz & Apex are the best filters you can get. You just replace them 1-2 yrs, depending how much driving you do.

Ha ha, I wouldn't buy disposable filters. Cleaning them is much easier.
Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

I dunno, i read some where that the inside of the tube gets a build up of crud from re-oiling the filter. That stuff could get sucked into your throttle body

the oil isn't what you think it is...
you only put a little on each row on the intake...
i have used it on my quad with my K&N filter.
