If you buy aftermarket Headers, would you have to recover it with the OEM caps that were on the original GT headers, or can you leave it uncovered, and what are the OEM Caps for, and how do they come off!!

are you talking about the black plastic thing that's infront of the radiator?
if you are that's the intak manifold, not the header. I don't think our headers have a heat shield. you just install the header & you're ready to go

yeah, that go around the oem headers man thats the intake manifold...the header is on the back of the motor...u cant see it barely

^^yep...headers lead to exhaust, to it would obviously be on the back of our gay little engines.

Ha ha, it's cool, most car's out there have the headers facing toward the front which is the complete opposite of the Celica. With exceptions like the RSX.
Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

So whats the differnce between the GTs plastic Manifold and the GTS metal intake

They're both metal. All intake manifolds are made out of metal. GT & GTS engines have different intake manifolds, that's why they have different looking heat shields.

so why is ours covered in plastic, and could you remove them and use it without them, or no..

i think im gonna take the plastic covering the intake manifold off. if its ugly under there ill put it back on
