Headers Question?

If you buy aftermarket Headers, would you have to recover it with the OEM caps that were on the original GT headers, or can you leave it uncovered, and what are the OEM Caps for, and how do they come off!!

are you talking about the black plastic thing that's infront of the radiator?

if you are that's the intak manifold, not the header. I don't think our headers have a heat shield. you just install the header & you're ready to go

Ha ha, it's cool, most car's out there have the headers facing toward the front which is the complete opposite of the Celica. With exceptions like the RSX.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

They're both metal. All Intake manifolds are made out of metal. GT & GTS engines have different Intake manifolds, that's why they have different looking heat shields.

Yeah, but there's not point in taking it off, unless you want to paint it
