I'm ridin' on stock 15's, however I've already bought the TRD Springs and will purchase matching TRD Struts and 18's in the future.
Question - Should I drop the car now with the 15's on, or wait until I get the Struts and 18's (considering it may be 6 months-1 year before I get them)?

well it all depends, if you really want your car to look a lot better i would just install them. But then again i would wait until i had the struts and shocks, less labor involved if your doing it yourself, or less expensive if your getting it done. just focus on getting the shocks and struts and drop it asap. You don't need to have 18's to drop... My two cents...

wait for the shocks...you will end up paying double for install when they can do it in one shot with the spring/shock combo

If you going to do the installation your self put it on. But if you goung to pay some one to install it , just hold 'till you get your shocks. P.S.If your current shocks are not totally fucked up,I do not think you'll feel big differense after the new shocks installation... Just install the Springs, drive around for couple of month and if you feel like you need a new shocks just buy it. P.S.I have Sportlines (2.4" drop) and 15' stock rims and I'm fine...

How new are your shock and struts? I would say if you have 50K miles or less on your celi just put on the springs now. You will still improve your handling with just the spring upgrade. But you should avoid putting springs on shock/struts that are about to wear out, for all the reasons posted above.

yeah, I am getting it professionally done. Also, I know I don't need the shocks, but hey, I'm converting my car to a TRD machine and money is no big deal

Add new shocks/stuts around 60k or so, why pay money for shocks when you got brand new ones on the car.

I would rather have someone come to me for an operation than have some layman on the street try it. Also, I know it's not a difficult install however I have better things to do with my time and could care less if I drop a few hundred here and there.

i would say wait...get all the parts you need (i.e. rims, body kit, paint, audio, tints, shocks, springs, etc) and do it all in one big bang..so when it comes out the shop its like a whole brand spankin new ride.

I would but I've been waiting so long for everything to come in that I just decided to have some installed to clear space - The shop will be installing HS Header, AEM CAI, AEM pulley, TRD exhaust, and probably the TRD springs...
