hey guys i've been doing a search on both ecelica and newcelica.org and i am getting mixed information on this mod. does it work or doesn't it? i have an auto GT...does anyone else here have it in their car? because if it doesn't really do anything then i might as well go for the mtec lights thumbsup

I don't have it but I can tell you that you WILL get some gain from it.
It modifys the fuel/air signal. If it's tuned correctly, it can get you some HP. I don't know exactly how much.. maybe 5 to 10 hp.
You can set the S-AFC to consume different amounts of fuel & air at different stages or in intervals of 500 rpm.

I don't know much about it though, so.. anybody who has one please jump in now.. grin

i dont have one either but i've asked around and they told me that it's not worth buying it coz our stock ECU resets itself after some time or something like that..i know someone has a good explaination about this..try a search on the forum coz i think it was discussed on here somewhere..they recommend that you get the one that Split Second makes

I got one, and it works. Your car runs rich at WOT and you can lean that out for more power. If you have a GTS like i do, then at lift it helps more becuase lift runs very rich. To help, you will need an air/fuel gauge, I got indiglo gauges... to make a long story short.. it works at WOT becuase the car isnt in its closed loop. Go to Visionimports.com, they have it for 300 shipped...PEACE

my opinion...

S-AFC works. You can edit A/F.

But the difference (hp gain) is not so big, and some people feel there are no differenes.

And if AUTO,, the governor cannot be canceled by this.
