Ok... i have a friend who can get me a supercharger really cheap. It's used, but in really good shape. I need to know what else i need to complete the kit. I know i'm gonna need a blow off valve or some kind of pressure regulator between the supercharger and the throttle body becuase the supercharger came off a 3.6 litre car, and will therefor create more then my ideal boost on my 1.8. What i need to know from the f/i people or anyone else, is what do i have to do to the ECU for it to be able to handle the forced induction?

just get the TRD Supercharger... Even if you get a great deal, it may not be worth the headache trying to "tune" this one

you need more than the unit itself to have any gains from it...
you need at least
all the piping - alone, this will cost you at least 500 for good piping boost controller \ belt to drive the s/c
there's probably a whole lot more you need too, but thats all i can think of.
and a whole hell of a lot of time on your hands to make it all fit under the hood.

i dont thik you need to do anything to the ECU or MAFS. The MAFS you can just use. I believe the celica ECU can't handle pressure above 8 psi, so you'd need something to use customs fuel-maps I think

ok, so i can keep the stock ecu under 8psi of boost... and I do plan to get some kind of piggy back system in the future (i don't know how soon i'll be able to aford a good one.)
Do i need to do anything with the ECU when i put the larger injectors on?

um you sure it will WORK and fit all correctly? Otherwise, don't get it unless you are 100% positive

If nothing else, i can always resell the supercharger for more than i bought it for... my friend is giving me a really good deal on it.
