Detailed the entire engine bay with a degreaser, and was looking at my red AEM CAI, and was wondering if there was a way to paint the rubber hoses that connect to it. I know it sounds stupid, but I think it would look better. I doubt that you can paint the rubber hoses because the paint would just flake off, so is there a type of colored hose (preferably red to match the intake) that I could swap the hoses that are on there now with? It would have to be a tough and flexible hose, and I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this, or thought about doing this, or knew of anything I could do.

Don't flame me. I get bored, I can't sleep, and I have nothing else to do. tongue

get an engine dress up kit... its thinner silicone hoses that go over your existing hoses to change the color.

Ah, cool. Thanks. How much would that type of kit cost, and you know a site that sells them?
The Injen CAI has colored hoses doesn't it? Perhaps I could just use the same kind they use?

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.
