Is the wind shied darker than the side windows?

I just my windows tint late afternoon yesterday. This moring when I drove, I found my wind shield window is not as dark as the side windows even though I chosed the same film for all three of them. The person who tinted my windows said tht it is because the side windows' glass are darker than wind shield windows.
Is that true? I did not feel such difference before until I tint my windows.

umm...no
it's just the angle making you think that the window shade differently because you tinted it.

Yeah Evan, I was wondering the same thing-definitely illegal. I thought he just had a stripe on the windshield put on like me.

You see it from another angle

like i said, he did his job...
u see the front a lighter tint because of the angle.

my friend's civic's rear silver tint looks lighter than his sides, and we are sure it's the same % of tint cos we are there watching the guy tinting his window.
so, no worries if you think the guy fooled you.
u can always go darker if you dont like wut you have now, but it's pretty dangerous at dark to have the whole front window tinted.

Yes that and the fact that it is illegal to have your front windshield tinted at all in any of the 50 states.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.
