This may be a stupid question in parts but... The rug in my car had separated where the hook connects from the floor and my floor mat has a tendency to travel to the left and sometimes block the clutch. Any one have the same problem? Any fix other than drilling fasteners into my rug and floor under the mat to hold it?

The '03 and '04 have two hooks. Maybe you could buy them from the dealer? Other than that, just bolt them to the floor somehow. Maybe use adhesive-backed velcro. Be creative grin

If you're still under warranty, hell yes. With "normal wear and tear" those should last a long time. Get it fixed.. for free grin

If you make real nice with the dealership folks, you might even be able to convince them to give you two hooks like the newer models have. happywink

A replacement hook should only cost a few cents. The hook comes out. I have a replacement that came with my new floor mats. Do you want it?

Yep, something's amiss if you have a 2003 and only one hook.

I checked my floormats tonight and one hook is missing but there is no place to put the second one into the mat?!? So I checked the bottom of my mats and they are all 2002 mats!!! angry I'm going to contact my dealer and find out why this is so.

LOL, am the the only one who doesn't use the hook? grin It's still in my glove box in the plastic bag that it came in. I don't really have a problem with the floor mat moving around. I only adjust it after I get the car washed. They never lay them down to my "satisfaction" happywink

Use these Eagle Klaw [eagleklaw.com] car mat clips. They’re specifically meant to solve this problem. It took a few minutes to install and my mats haven’t moved since.
