Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior 17" Motegi Mr8 - Pics/Opinoins

I have wanted a set of 18" Mr7's for awhile but its kinda high with tires and everything. Also i want to put a kit on but doubt i will until i pay a good bit of my note off. I have since come across a set of 17" mr8's for a good price and am considering them.

First anybody got any pics or the mr8 on celis?Or a rim very similar to the mr8.
I will probably drop the car with the new set of rims.

i would wait and get 18" but im afraid of looking like an suv even with a drop. Plus i drive a hell of a lot and not on decent roads. That is an understatment I have put 3k miles on my car in a month I drive a little bit.

I know its a noob Question but im just curious moreso to see some pics of this rim on the celi.

stick with the mr7's in 18"

they will fill out your wheel wells perfectly (especially with a bodykit) you will look very tight (yesh toight like a toiger)



they look so even and clean ... you wont look like an suv ... with the right kit an 18's , you wont need a very large drop to sit your chassis so there is an even gap all the way around the wheel in the wheel well...

plus you wont be too low to the ground (scraping) ... you will be closer to stock ride height / feel ... and have a very clean look to the car...
