I got a burbling metallic sound at 3200 to 3500 rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear does any one else?

You have to explain the noise a little better. Is it when you get on it hard, or just even if you are chilling? Does it sound like a low grumle/growl/roar? Or is it a distinct metal noise?

Ive been told by a few people that its a harmonic thing and its normal, just wanted to see if any one else gets the same noise. (I guess you could call it a growl echoing in the pipe?) When I launch from a stop and run through the gears I dont get it (cuz I'm shifting at high rpm's) but normal driving is when I get it.

i've had some sounds out of norm soundds generated when the weather is off like extremely cold or rainy and wet but for the most part nothing too extreme or out of the norm. i'd say just wait and see if this annoying sound continues to reoccur and if it does then maybe go get it checked out but i think it could just be an intangible factor like weather or dampness in effect...

It is the sound of the intake sucking in the air. Sounds kind of like a whistle? If that is the noise, that is normal. I love that, makes it sound like I have a really small turbo.

Hey spidey if you can, try something for me and see if you get the sound I'm talkin about. While moving (slow) shift from 1st to 2nd at 2k rpm when in 2nd at 2k mash the gas and see if you hear something like I've talked about at 3k to 3.5k rpm.

I can't right now. My car isn't running, I fucked it up. But I will try it as soon as I get it back. What you might want to do, is make sure your intake isn't loose. Make sure its not hitting anything. If everything is attached and there is no metallic sound, you are hearing the noise of a Cold Air Intake.
