http://www.hyperflasher.com/toyota.htm

or you can seach "hyper blinker" on ebay and maybe purchase it for cheaper

thats the site if you want to buy the plug and play device that makes your turn signals and hazard lights blink fast.

You can buy their device that makes your lights blink 2x, 4x, and 6x faster than stock.

There is another way of doing this, and it is adjustable. it cost a bit more, but when i was in Japan i used this type. it takes the place of the flasher and you dont burn it out either.

here go check out this site

have you got a hyper blinker installed? i opened it and i don't think that's the right spot. The instruction said I should locate (listen) for a clicking sound and locate its. anyone else has any idea where it located??? 2000 celica??

I haven't got mine yet but the guy that I bought it from said that it was near the clutch or clutch pedal, I thought it was wierd to come without instructions. I'll get back to you when I get it in.

Yeah I found out where it was this afternoon. I just turned on my hazard lights and stuck my head near the pedals and I heard it behind that plastic piece.

The only problem i see with waht you are doing is that the flashers fuse will burn out quicker, i have done this before and that is what happen to me. Plus this sometimes messes up the electrical system. here is a like to a shop that sells the best thing for this plus you can adjust the speed of the flasher. http://www.shopresponse.com/adjustable_flashers.html

my brother is a fucking genius!!! thumbsup grin . I kept trying to locate the ticking noise though it took him like less than 15 seconds. He was like "it's right here!".

Steven is right! but one thing is that you should be real careful when removing the plastic. I didn't removed it, just bended it out a lil so my hand could get in. A suggestion is that you'll need something other than your hand since mine is really hard to get out. Even my brother couldn't get it out.

Ti Chuot - did you order the same thing I did??

I had to use a pair of pliers to remove that relay. That sucker did not want to come out!

I think we got the same one, but i ordered it off ebay from some guy. just a few dollars cheaper. don't know where you got yours. BTW Steven, you think 6x (strobing effect) is a lil too fast? burn out the circuit? getting stop by cop?? 'cause the flashing is fast like hell, the way i see it. Faster than my brother and he got 6x, and from the same guy.

where do you buy the low wattage bulbs. and can you change the rear 7440 bulbs instead of the front 1156 to make the same effect

if i were you, i'd buy the hyper blinker relay instead of the low voltage bulbs. I think it's much safer that way since the bulbs won't burn out as quick. But it depends on you.
And I don't think you can change the rear 7440
