i was trying to install me AEM CAI last night, and it took me forever! but anyway i finished it but theres one part i cant figure out where it goes. can someone please help me with this. thank rice

i have the same intake and if iam not mistaken you just take it out. it has no use. can someone else confirm this? but iam 99.99% sure i took mines out thumbsup

yes make sure you cut out any wheel well plastics rubbing against the intake tube if you dont it can create a hole in the piping down the line and thats not a good thing

I took my right out
If Im not mistaken thats the Fresh Air Bypass Valve
I think you only need it with the stock air box
I could be wrong though,so don't take my word for it smile

Doesn't matter where you ziptie it.
Take the connector out of the thing where the three hoses are on. You don't need the hoses and you don't need the 'thing', so just store those with your stock airbox.

Then just find a place to ziptie the connector to, as long as it can't get stuck between moving parts you should be okay
