Im having long-term issues about my car...

it's becomming annoying to me now..

there are rattle noises all around my car, and a lot of strange noise from out side the car...

my brake feel faded(and no it's not overheat, not that the pads need to replace, not the rotor), my throttle is not as responsive...

is there anything i can do? like go to bodyshop to have them do tune ups? will tune ups fix some problem? (the throttle and brake)

how about the interior noise? i really dont want to put dynamats...is there any other way to make the rattle noise go away?

and my belt, toyota freaking fucked up my belt, i told them that my belt is SOMETIMES squeaking, they said they wont do the TSB...so they lub my belt...and now my belt squeaks all the time...shit!

now dont tell me to trade to another car...cos i dont have the authority and $ to do it...i really would like to change to Ralliart or Mazda 3...but i just simply cant...

any suggestion would be great...but no bashing please...im a little of a sensitive side these dayz...

I dunno why you're having all of these problems...But it sure does suck thumbsdown

I would take the car to the dealer, tell them everything that's wrong with it, and they SHOULD thoroughly look at it, especially if the car's under warranty thumbsup

Tighten the throttle yourself. As for the rattling, pinpoint the location and fix it somehow. <----Unless it's your engine. thumbsdown

unfortuanately there is no wire to tighten

yes i did pinpoint the locations...and it's in the fan, and im not such a mechanic to peel off all my decks to go into the fan and then think from there how to fix it...

the tweeter rattles too, i know i can get dynamat door kit to fix that...but too much of $$.

I'm going through exactly the same shit man,
i feel you~~

i have f'en rattles here and there, and my tweekers are either cracked or rattling aswell.. angry
pisses me off, and turns me off... can't have a pleasant drive, or not as good as before!!

I went to my dealer for heaps of rattling problems, namely from my sunroof, and they just lubricated and said that's all they can do...
i had the TSB there, but they didn't take much notice...
and NO, the problem ain't fixed... and for some reason i'm sure if you did what the TSB said it would be!
f'en dealers... piss me off aswell...
they can act so considerate but do so fucken little... thumbsdown

the rattle on the drivers side door is kinda gay...

i get it in mine sometimes, but last night I didn't hear it...

for that rattle, you could take the door panel off and just experiment to find what rattles and fix it.

sorry to hear all the other problems frown

I think Celica is still better than Ralliart and Mazda 3

even thought it makes some annoying noises.

By the way, you own a GTS man.

You should be proud of that.

sup man, i feel your pain. i'm only at 21k mileage and the rattles are annoying as hell. here's a pdf directly from this site on how to fix the most common rattles on a celica. https://celicahobby.com/tech/tsb2/TSB_rattle_noise_repair.pdf i believe you can get most fixed under warranty thumbsup

as far as your issues with throttle response, i suggest you take measures to keep your engine clean. i.e. use synthetic oil.. AND DO EVERYTHING YOURSELF!! this site has tons of info on how to do practically everything. also use fuel injector cleaner for every first tank you fill up after oil change. i no longer trust any auto shop, especially the dealer. for all you know, they could just not have been changing your oil while saying that they did.

if you'r positive that you don't need new brake pads, i would try checking the brake fluid level.

don't give up on your car yet man... there are tons of people that would kill to get a celi (trust me, i was one of them grin)
