If i buy some lowering springs and take them off for the winter and put my stock springs. is it hard to place and replace them?

I think you need a special tool. A spring compressor. That would be too much of a hassle for me. Could you get coilovers to adjust the ride height?

Coil-overs would be the best way to go. After raising or lowering the car you need to adjust the alignment either way (coil-over or replacing). Alot of auto parts stores rent spring compressors so it's just the hassle of doing the work. Hope this helps.

If you get real coil-overs, they are a complete unit - shock tube with threaded collar, spring, etc. If you get a kit that is just the "slip on" threaded collar and spring then you would have to get shocks or use your stock shocks.
