I appologize for the OT but just wanted this communites opinion

Just got a call from me mammy and i was asked if i wanted my recently deceased Grandma's 98 Isuzu Rodeo 2x4. All id have to do is take over the note because she cant handle it anymore. notes at most 140 a month for 3 years. Im curious if anyone knows any issues about this SUV or if it would end up being a pain in the long run, Mind all i have is my little Celica (which i will say has a huge amount of room) so sometimes its hard to get bulky things and usually have to make phone calls or use my company van.

Any opinions would be apprecaited ...

thanks

My wife drives an Isuzu Vehicross, and we both are really impressed with it. There are a few guys here at work that drive Rodeos, and they all have nothing but good things to say about them. I know our Vehicross is really rugged, reliable, and well put together. It has great power and certainly doesn't handle like an SUV. I would have to say it certainly seems like Isuzu knows what they are doing.

140 a month for 3 years is the payment for the suv, right? thats pretty cheap. i for one have never heard of any problems with that type of vehicle (or any type of isuzu).

it this payment convient for you?

it seems like a practical addition to your needs because of the things you carry.

sorry, other than that, i dont know much about the issues of the rodeo

If you can swing the payment then get it you can use it for all the things you'd never use the celi for

i have a 92 isuzu rodeo as my work/winter driver it is also a 2x4. i have never
had a single problem with it running altough they have very cheesy door handles
and locks that like to stick and break ocasionaly. other than that no problems
and it has about 112000 miles. makes a great second vehicle so i dont have to
put miles on my celica. keep this in mind though i drive this thing every where
i meen dirt roads fields the hole nine so i have abused it pretty well. hope that helps

check out a lot of countries around the world where they beat the hell out of vehicles and you might see an isuzu or three.

I remember I wanted to purchase this car back in 1999 but was hearing from different people and reviews at that time stating that it was a lemon. I wanted it because I wanted the Honda Passport but it was too expensive. Not sure if the rumors were true, but Google search to see what kind of problems these cars have.
