Hey all, i'm an audio newbie...but here's my situation

i have a 2002 GTS and my aftermarket deck knocked out, and now i've got no tunes....i need to reinstall my stock deck, and i'm hoping it's an easy enough job i can try it myself

i already looked up how to remove all dashboard parts via the awesome install guides on the site, but none of them go into specific

i bought a wiring harness and everything when i installed the aftermarket deck, so is it a simple matter of pluging everything in and screwing some parts back on?

also i know they bypassed the stock amp (in the glove box i think) is this easy to reconnect? just get behind the glove box and plug it back in?

lastly should i disconnect the battery before i start messing around back there?

if there's a previous post regarding this please point me in that direction

thanks for reading my long post, any help would be greatly appreciated

Its as ex as finding the same color wire's and reattaching them. If they bypassed the amp that means they probably cut some wires and dicked around so just get in there and start reconnecting wires and harnesses. You technically should disconnect the battery while working on it but since the power for that system is only active in the ACC postition you should be fine if you leave the key out of the ignition.
