I am installing a sony xplod cd receiver in a 1992 celica gt and removed the factory deck and aftermarket cd changer so I dont have a wiring harness for the car anymore I guess from when they installed the cd changer. Are there any hints or advice I could get from anyone as to why I might not have power? Also where would a factory amp be located? I removed the glovebox and I'm not seeing one there. I need help. Thanx Hipkat

guess not, on your door panel is there a little round thing that says "system "10"" on it? or do you have door speakers at all? also do you have the 4 tweeters (2 int he hatch, 2 in the doors) ??

Thanks for the advice I figured it out and I just needed the wiring color codes the stereo that was a factory set up but was not the one that was originally in the vehicle. So there wasn't a pigtail to connect to. It all worked out and it sounds great!!! Thanks for the help
