well if they are trying to compete with the neon srt-4, lancer evo, or wrx sti...they're certainly not going to accomplish that by introducing a 170 horsepower corolla.
supercharge/turbocharge it, get its horses up to 300 horses, and THEN maybe.
Certainly those cars outperform the new corolla, but my point is that toyota is a little late in recognizing the demand for factory turbo'd cars.
very true. toyota has been behind the peformance edge as of late.
