A few nights before installing the grill, I primed it with gray primer then I used 4 coats of flat black spray paint to cover the grill. when I painted it, I stood it up like this and then just sprayed

Use the wire cutters to cut your grill to the measurements that you got in the previous steps. I wore disposable gloves while cutting because the cut grill was really sharp and I rather it poke the gloves and not my skin
after you cut your grill, the edges will be sharp and uneven - lay it down on the cement and press your shoe over that edge, to flatten it out.
Place your newly cut grill over the opening of your bumper and check for fit
The edges of your grill will overlap and the corners will need to be cut. Cut off the corner of the grill so that it fit correctly, leaving at least 1 inch of grill overlapping the fog light hole in your bumper
